Job summary

B&Q Salisbury is looking for a Customer Advisor to help customers with home improvement projects, provide ideas, advice and support, and keep the store well presented. You’ll work a 15-hour, part-time rota across Monday to Sunday, including evenings and weekends, in a friendly team environment.

You’ll be paid a notional hourly rate of £13.37 (includes £0.27 location allowance). Training in paint-mixing and timber cutting is available, with strong emphasis on customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing with a buzz from helping others.
• Able to work in a team and on a rota including weekends and bank holidays.
• Willing to learn new technology and ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with home improvement projects and provide ideas and guidance.
• Manage stock, set up displays, and maintain an attractive store.
• Learn paint-mixing and timber cutting; deliver great customer service.
