Job summary

B&Q Gravesend is seeking a Customer Advisor to join on a part-time basis (20 hours per week) for a 3-month fixed-term contract. You will be an expert advisor, helping customers with home improvement projects, while also assisting with stock, displays and store presentation.

You will receive training in paint-mixing and timber cutting, with emphasis on delivering outstanding customer service. Shifts run Mon–Sun, including evenings and bank holidays, in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing, with a buzz from helping others.
• Able to work in a team and on a rota including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
• Eager to learn and adapt to new technology and processes.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert advisor and guide for customers.
• Drive sales while also managing stock and setting up displays to keep the store looking great.
• Be trained in paint-mixing and cutting timber as part of role expansion.
• Provide excellent customer service and support across shifts Monday to Sunday.
