Job summary

B&Q Washington is seeking a Customer Advisor for a part-time 20-hour week contract. You will be the friendly face helping customers with their home improvement projects, while supporting stock, displays and seasonal tasks.

Training in paint-mixing and timber-cutting may be provided, with a focus on delivering outstanding service. The role requires a positive, team-oriented approach, with weekend/evening/bank holiday rota flexibility and a willingness to learn new technology to assist

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing, eager to learn and helpful to customers.
• Willing to work on a rota including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
• Comfortable with new technology and stock/ displays responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and product advice.
• Assist with stock management and merchandising to keep store looking great.
• Handle sales with accuracy and support paint-mixing / timber-cutting training as needed.
