Job summary

B&Q Limited in Newport is recruiting a Customer Advisor for a part-time 19-hour week on a 3-month fixed-term contract. You’ll become an expert adviser, helping customers with home improvement projects while supporting stock, displays and store presentation.

The role values great customer service, teamwork and flexibility to cover weekends, evenings and bank holidays. Training in paint-mixing and timber cutting is available, with a competitive hourly rate and access to benefits.

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing; you’ll help customers with enthusiasm.
• Able to work in a rota including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
• Willing to learn and adapt to new technology and processes.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales while delivering excellent customer service.
• Assist with stock management and setting up displays.
• Ensure the store looks attractive and well-organised.
