Job summary

B&Q Limited in Rotherham is seeking a Customer Advisor. This part-time role covers a wide rota including weekends and bank holidays, with training in paint-mixing and timber cutting but primary focus on great customer service.

You will be part of a team that helps customers improve their homes, using new technology and friendly, outgoing support to guide purchases and store presentation.

Qualifications

• Happy to help, eager to learn and just a little bit obsessed with home improvement, you’ll be right at home with us.
• You’re friendly and outgoing, and you get a buzz from helping others.
• You’ll be happy to expand your skills by using new technology and learning new ways of working.
• You’re great at working in a team too, and flexible enough to work on a rota that includes weekends, evenings and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Sales will be important, as will things like managing stock, setting up displays, and making sure your store looks great.
• You’ll have the opportunity to be trained in paint-mixing and cutting timber, but truly great customer service will be your main aim.
