Job summary

B&Q Barnstaple is seeking a Customer Advisor for part-time hours on a fixed-term 8-week contract. The role covers helping customers, managing stock, and maintaining attractive displays. Training in paint-mixing and timber-cutting is available. Shifts run Monday through Sunday, 7.00am–10.00pm, with a notional hourly rate of £13.10.

Ideal candidates are friendly, eager to learn, and comfortable working as part of a team in a retail environment. Weekend and bank holiday availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales while helping customers with home improvement needs

• Learn paint-mixing and timber-cutting processes as part of training
