The role requires a UK driving licence, physical capability to lift up to 15kg, and a willingness to work within our flexible availability framework. Part-time position (20 hours/week) at Kendal with a fixed-term assignment, offering competitive hourly pay and staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years old and hold a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points
• Must have Right to Work in the UK
• Will complete an online driving risk assessment as part of the interview

Responsibilities

• Being the face of Sainsbury's at every doorstep you deliver to, making customers feel valued
• Driving a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van to deliver groceries on time and in good condition
• Carrying out vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and safety of deliveries
• Following planned routes and maintaining safe driving in varying conditions
• Handling shopping containers up to 15kg and delivering to different properties
• Communicating with customers about delays or changes to orders
