African Rainbow Family is seeking a Part-Time Grants, Fundraising and Monitoring Officer in Greater Manchester to lead income generation, bid writing, and donor engagement. You will help diversify funding via trusts, foundations and corporate giving, while communicating the mission to diverse audiences.

The role emphasizes strategic thinking, project planning, and cross-team collaboration in a small, dynamic team dedicated to supporting LGBTIQ+ refugees and asylum seekers.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in fundraising and grant writing.
• Ability to turn ideas into project plans and campaigns.
• Strong fundraising, campaigning and communications skills.
• Ability to work in a small team and communicate the organisation's mission to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Identify funding priorities with the team.
• Build relationships with funders and supporters.
• Deliver Income Generation Strategies and successful bids.
• Coordinate funding applications and ensure grants are managed to terms.
• Report to funders and monitor outcomes and impact.
• Develop and maintain an active supporter base and campaigning efforts.
• Manage social media and website presence.
