Job summary

LGBT Foundation in Manchester is seeking a Grants & Contracts Manager to lead funding applications and contract compliance in a busy charity.

You will research opportunities, prepare budgets, manage relationships with funders, and ensure funding agreements are implemented effectively.

This full-time, 35-hour-per-week role offers hybrid working, a supportive development culture and a strong social impact in LGBTQ+ communities.

Qualifications

• Experience writing and submitting successful funding applications to trusts, foundations and statutory sources.
• Ability to formulate persuasive arguments and communicate them to influence funders.
• Experience analysing financial information and presenting it accessibly.
• Knowledge of external policy landscape affecting funding mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Secure sustainable funding by managing grants and contracts and ensuring compliance.
• Research funding opportunities and develop compelling applications and tenders.
• Prepare project budgets and business cases for long-term funding.
• Oversee grant and contract administration and implement new funding agreements.
• Build and maintain relationships with funders and partners.
• Monitor fundraising targets and support team performance.
