Job summary

African Rainbow Family in Greater Manchester seeks a Programs Manager to shape and deliver the charity’s day-to-day programmes across its centres. You will lead staff, oversee grants, fundraising, monitoring, and ensure funding compliance while advocating for LGBTIQ+ refugees and asylum seekers in public policies.

The role requires strategic thinking, policy understanding, and strong communication. You will work with trustees, partners and policymakers to expand impact and ensure services meet

Qualifications

• Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
• Strong financial acumen, budgeting and forecasting.
• Proven experience in policy development and implementation.
• Experience in income generation and securing funding from Trusts, Foundations and grant bodies.
• Ability to engage stakeholders and work with boards, policymakers and funders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day programmes operations and ensure efficiency and compliance.
• Lead grant applications, budgets and resource management; align with strategic goals.
• Develop and implement policies; manage HR contracts and staff development.
• Manage stakeholder relations with partners, commissioners and funders.
• Deliver services to meet quality standards and funder requirements.
