Job summary

Playground Proms is seeking a part-time Fundraising & Grants Assistant to work with our Artistic Director to fund and develop our programmes.

Based in New Malden with hybrid working, the role involves researching funding opportunities and preparing applications to Arts Council England, trusts, foundations and local authorities, supporting budgets and cashflow records, and gathering material for project reports.

Qualifications

• Strong written communication, research and organisational skills; attention to detail.
• Confidence with spreadsheets, budgets and administrative records.
• Interest in music, arts education and community projects.

Responsibilities

• Research funding opportunities and prepare applications to Arts Council England, trusts, foundations and local authorities.
• Support budgets and cashflow records; monitor income and partnership invoices; gather material for project reports.
• Maintain relationships with music hubs, schools and partners; arrange meetings and prepare publicity.
• Assist with agreements and contracts.
