Playground Proms is seeking a part-time Fundraising & Grants Assistant to work with our Artistic Director to fund and develop our programmes.
Based in New Malden with hybrid working, the role involves researching funding opportunities and preparing applications to Arts Council England, trusts, foundations and local authorities, supporting budgets and cashflow records, and gathering material for project reports.
Playground Proms brings live music to schools, care homes and communities across England. We are looking for a Fundraising & Grants Assistant to work with our Artistic Director and help fund and develop our programmes.
The role includes researching funding opportunities; preparing applications to Arts Council England, trusts, foundations and local authorities; supporting budgets and cashflow records; monitoring income and partnership invoices; and gathering material for project reports.
You will also help maintain relationships with music hubs, schools and partners, arrange meetings, prepare partnership publicity, and assist with agreements and contracts.
This is a part-time role, 16 hours across two days each week, with hybrid working based in New Malden. Playground Proms is a registered charity in England and Wales, number 1198476.
Strong written communication, research and organisational skills; attention to detail; confidence with spreadsheets, budgets and administrative records; and an interest in music, arts education and community projects.
Fundraising, grant-writing or charity experience is welcome. Graduates and early-career applicants with relevant transferable skills are encouraged to apply.
