Job summary

The Nelson Trust is seeking a passionate Fundraising and Events Assistant to support the Business Development Team at an exciting growth stage. The role focuses on engaging supporters, coordinating fundraising activities and helping raise awareness of the charity's mission.

This part-time (21 hours) role offers hybrid working in Gloucestershire, with a salary of £24,500–£25,500 pro rata. Applicants must be female due to the occupational requirement.

Qualifications

• Experience in charitable fundraising.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Proactive team player with flexible approach.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery and development of fundraising activities and campaigns across the organisation.
• Assist with the planning and delivery of fundraising events, including stakeholder liaison and event-day support.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with supporters, donors, fundraising groups and corporate partners.
• Create engaging fundraising materials, newsletters, promotional content and supporter communications.
• Maintain accurate supporter records within the CRM system and support data quality and reporting activities.
• Identify new fundraising opportunities and help raise awareness of The Nelson Trust's services and impact.
