Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in South Gloucestershire is seeking a part-time General Practitioner for its team in HMP Eastwood Park. You will provide medical leadership, assess patients with various health issues, and work closely with a multidisciplinary team. Candidates must have an MBChB or MBBS, be on the GMC Register, and ideally have experience with substance misuse patients. Competitive salary up to £125,000 FTE depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a General Practitioner in community general practice.
• Evidence of continuing professional development.
• Ability to work with patients with a history of substance misuse.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients face to face, responding to their medical issues.
• Regularly review medications and monitor repeat prescriptions.
• Provide medical leadership and expert advice to the healthcare team.
