The Sandyford Surgery is a busy and friendly Practice, in the West End of Glasgow.

We are currently looking to recruit two enthusiastic and reliable Receptionists/Administrators Assistant, to join our friendly team. The posts will be for 17 hours per week Post 1 Monday & Thursday 0830-1800 - Post 2 Tuesday & Friday 0830-1800. The successful candidate being available to cover absences/holidays.

This role requires good communication and IT skills, as well as previous experience in a patient or customer facing role. You must be able to work under pressure, adapt in busy and unpredictable situations, whilst upholding patient confidentiality at all times. Previous experience in a GP or healthcare is not required, as full training will be provided to the right candidate. The role will include dealing with patients at reception and over the telephone, processing prescriptions and mail, booking and cancelling appointments, ‘signposting’ patients to the appropriate service, phoning hospitals, other services and administrative duties.

£13.53 per hour

4 weeks plus pro rata Bank Holidays per year. This will increase to 5 weeks after the first year and pro rata Bank Holidays.
