Job summary

BaxterStorey is hiring a General Assistant in Stafford to support breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner service in our catering operations. You will help with front-of-house duties, maintain cleanliness, and ensure smooth service for events and daily hospitality tasks.

Experience in contract catering or hospitality is preferred but not essential. A positive, flexible attitude, strong attention to detail, and teamwork will help you thrive in our inclusive, progressive workplace.

Qualifications

• Ideally have experience working within contract catering and/or hospitality.
• Have good Health & Safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner according to established menus and recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness of the front of house areas including organising dishes and utensils.
• Following proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination.
• Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies.
• Assist with filling vending machines and maintaining their cleanliness.
• Provide friendly and efficient service to our customers front of house and in hospitality/events settings.
• Participate in training sessions and meeting related to food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
