Job summary

BaxterStorey is seeking a Front of House Catering Restaurant Assistant to join its contract catering team in a fast-paced environment.

The role is part-time (21 hours per week, 9:00am–4:30pm, 3 days over 7) with up to £12.99 per hour, plus benefits such as 28 days holiday and free meals on shift.

You will support daily service, uphold food safety, and deliver excellent customer service while helping the team achieve targets and maintain high standards.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support catering staff during daily service.
• Ensure excellent customer service standards are consistently delivered.
• Assist with food preparation, presentation, and service.
• Monitor food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and client requirements.
• Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally.
• Assist with cash handling and daily reporting where required.
• Help achieve financial targets and minimise waste.
