Job summary

Leeds City College is seeking a part-time Teacher of Computer Games to join the Digital Arts department. The role is 29.6 hours per week and fixed term until July 2027, with a pro rata salary range of £25,532 to £28,729 per annum.

Responsibilities include planning lessons, delivering content on game engines, modelling, and game design, and supporting students' progression in a supportive team environment at the Quarry Hill Campus.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in Media Studies, Computer Games or a related field.
• Qualified to teach or working towards teaching qualification.
• Ability to deliver engaging lessons in digital arts and related subjects.

Responsibilities

• Plan delivery of the subject matter, creating lessons and teaching resources in line with the curriculum objectives.
• Teach principles and practical skills to help students pursue careers in digital and media industries.
• Track student progress and provide feedback to support development.
• Collaborate with the team to create a nurturing, positive learning environment.
