Job summary

Wiltshire Farm Foods, part of the apetito group, is seeking a delivery driver in Witham to deliver frozen meals to customers. The role is 16 hours per week across any 2 in 6 days, including bank holidays, in a chilly -20ºc coldstore environment with provided protective clothing.

Salary is £13.45 per hour plus bonus and company benefits, with a focus on friendly, reliable customer service and flexibility to support office and picking teams.

Qualifications

• Experience within a customer service-based role.
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
• Basic computer literacy including use of phone apps.
• Evidence of work stability.
• Basic secondary education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver frozen meals to our customers in a timely manner.
• Picking orders within the coldstore.
• Using our app to update customers deliveries.
• Delivering exceptional customer service at all times.
• Undertake pre-shift inspection of your van.
• Drive safely, responsibly and within the law.
• Clean and refuel your van as and when needed.
• Contact the office with any discrepancies or delays.
• Ensure customer confidentiality.
• Help the office team and picking team when required.
• Report health and safety, stock quality and mechanical issues.
• Carry out local marketing activities such as leaflet door drops and sheltered housing visits to attract new customers
