Job summary

Wiltshire Farm Foods, part of the apetito group, is seeking a part-time delivery driver in the Londonderry/Coleraine area. You will deliver frozen meals to customers, operate in a -20ºC coldstore, and wear provided protective clothing.

The role offers a 20-hour week with a base rate of £13.45 per hour plus bonus and company benefits, including a pension and life assurance. Applicants should have a valid UK manual driving licence, good customer service skills, and basic computer literacy.

Qualifications

• Experience within a customer service-based role.
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
• Basic computer literacy including use of phone apps.
• Evidence of work stability.
• Basic secondary education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver frozen meals to customers in a timely manner.
• Picking orders within the coldstore.
• Using our app to update customers deliveries.
• Delivering exceptional customer service at all times.
• Undertake pre-shift inspection of your van.
• Drive safely, responsibly and within the law.
• Clean and refuel your van as needed.
• Contact the office with any discrepancies or delays.
• Ensure customer confidentiality.
• Help the office and picking teams as required.
• Report health and safety, stock quality and mechanical issues.
• Assist the team if a member is absent or on holiday.
• Carry out local marketing activities to attract new customers.
