Job summary

Wiltshire Farm Foods, part of the apetito group, is hiring a part-time delivery driver. You will deliver frozen meals to customers, work in a -20ºC coldstore, and interact with customers daily. The role requires a current UK manual driving licence, basic computer literacy, and strong reliability.

Hours are 20 per week across 2 days in a 6-day cycle (including bank holidays). A discretionary bonus and company benefits accompany a competitive hourly rate of £13.45.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service-based role.
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
• Basic computer literacy including use of phone apps.
• Evidence of work stability.
• Basic secondary education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver frozen meals to customers in a timely manner.
• Picking orders within the coldstore.
• Use the app to update customer deliveries.
• Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
• Undertake pre-shift inspection of your van.
• Drive safely and within the law.
• Refuel/clean the van as needed.
• Communicate discrepancies/delays to the office.
• Maintain customer confidentiality.
• Assist office/picking teams as needed.
• Report health and safety/stock issues.
• Support colleagues when someone is absent.
• Carry out local marketing activities to attract new customers.
