Job summary

Wiltshire Farm Foods, part of the apetito group, is recruiting a delivery driver for 16 hours per week across 2 in 6 days, including bank holidays. You will deliver frozen meals to customers and bring sunshine to their doors, enjoying contact with people and a friendly team.

Work takes place in a -20ºC coldstore with protective clothing provided; you will use our app to update deliveries, perform pre-shift checks, and assist the office and picking teams as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience within a customer service-based role.
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
• Basic computer literacy including use of phone apps.
• Evidence of work stability.
• Basic secondary education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver frozen meals to our customers in a timely manner
• Picking orders within the coldstore
• Using our app to update customers deliveries
• Delivering exceptional customer service at all times
• Undertake pre-shift inspection of your van
• Drive safely, responsibly and within the law
• Clean and refuel your van as and when needed
• Contact the office with any discrepancies or delays
• Ensure customer confidentiality
• Helping the office team and picking team when required
• Reporting health and safety, stock quality and mechanical issues
• Assist the team if another member of the team is absent or on holiday
• Carry out local marketing activities such as leaflet door drops and sheltered housing visits to attract new customers
