Job summary

Wiltshire Farm Foods, part of the apetito group, is seeking a Delivery Driver for 32 hours per week, across 4 in 6 days including bank holidays. You will deliver frozen meals, work in a -20ºC coldstore, with protective gear provided and breaks to warm up.

You will be part of a team and use an app to manage deliveries. Essential: full UK manual driving licence, customer service experience, basic computer literacy, and stability.

Qualifications

• Experience within a customer service-based role.
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
• Basic computer literacy including use of phone apps.
• Evidence of work stability.
• Basic secondary education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver frozen meals to our customers in a timely manner.
• Picking orders within the coldstore.
• Using our app to update customers deliveries.
• Delivering exceptional customer service at all times.
• Undertake pre-shift inspection of your van.
• Drive safely, responsibly and within the law.
• Clean and refuel your van as and when needed.
• Contact the office with any discrepancies or delays.
• Ensure customer confidentiality.
• Helping the office team and picking team when required.
• Reporting health and safety, stock quality and mechanical issues.
• Assist the team if another member of the team is absent or on holiday.
• Carry out local marketing activities such as leaflet door drops and sheltered housing visits to attract new customers
