Job summary

Optegra Eye Healthcare in Uttoxeter Hospital is seeking an experienced Receptionist/Administrator for a part-time role. You will work 30 hours per week across three days, acting as first point of contact for patients and visitors, handling telephone queries and providing professional front-of-house support.

Qualifications

• Experience in front of house / customer service role.
• Experience with customer billing or accounts.
• Private healthcare experience is desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Well organised with ability to prioritise and work under pressure.
• Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Cover main hospital reception and be first point of contact for patients and visitors.
• Greet patients and visitors in a professional manner, in person and by phone.
• Support Patient Services team with inquiries, billing and general administration.
• Assist with queries before and after consultations and other admin tasks.
