Job summary

Thornford Park Hospital, part of Elysium Healthcare, invites applications for a part‑time Clinical/Forensic Psychologist (30 hours/week) to join the Male Low Secure Unit and provide specialist psychological input within the MDT.

You will manage your own caseload, deliver assessments, formulation and both long‑ and short‑term therapies, and contribute to care planning and training. HCPC registration and eligibility for Chartered status with the BPS are required.

Qualifications

• Registration with HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist and eligible for Chartered status with the British Psychological Society.
• Experience using psychological models and theories to address a range of risk and behavioural issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload of complex service-users.
• Attend regular MDTs and service development meetings.
• Provide both long and short‑term psychological interventions.
• Support care planning and supervision within the team.
