Working for Essex in Chelmsford is hiring a Part-Time Finance Officer. The role supports banking and accounts receivable processes, with a salary for 22.2 hours per week between £15,575.40 and £17,172.60 per annum. The position requires Level 3 education and experience with banking/income systems.

There is a regular monthly attendance at County Hall, Chelmsford and a flexible 3–5 day pattern weekly. Closing Date: 26 October 2026. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Formación

• Educated to Level 3 (A level) incl. English & Mathematics or equivalent by experience.
• Knowledge of Banking/Income systems and accounts receivable/reconciliation experience.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsabilidades

• Provides financial support for payments and income collection per the business plan.
• Offers technical support to team members and customers for complex queries in line with procedures.
• Contributes to process improvements and financial system changes for efficiency.
