Job summary

Thompson & Terry Recruitment are recruiting a part-time Finance Manager for an Oxford-based, project-driven business. You will own the day-to-day finance function, liaising with the Managing Director and senior stakeholders to ensure accurate financial management and timely reporting.

Key duties include overseeing ledgers, payroll, CIS, credit control, payroll submissions, tax reporting, and cash management, with close collaboration with engineers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing the finance function within an SME environment.
• Hands-on in financial administration and reporting.
• Strong stakeholder communication with MDs and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee purchase and sales ledgers, payroll administration, and credit control.
• Manage banking, cash flow, and supplier/customer invoicing.
• Handle CIS, pension administration, HMRC reporting and payments.
• Liaise with project engineers, suppliers, subcontractors and directors.
