Job summary

Wade Macdoanld is seeking a Part-Time Finance Manager in Twickenham, offering hybrid working and a £40,000–£45,000 full-time equivalent salary. Reporting to the COO, you will oversee daily finance, reporting, and controls while binding the function together with strong cash flow and payroll oversight.

This hands-on role requires management reporting, payroll oversight, system improvements, and collaboration with stakeholders across the organisation.

Part-Time Finance Manager - Twickenham - £40,000 / £45,000 (Full time equivalent salary) - Hybrid Working

About the Job

This is a broad, hands-on Finance Manager position with responsibility for the smooth day-to-day running of the finance function. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will take ownership of financial reporting and controls while overseeing transactional finance, payroll, banking and finance systems.

Duties will include:

• Producing monthly management accounts, financial analysis, forecasts and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Supporting the year-end accounts and audit process, including preparing schedules and liaising with external auditors.
• Managing cash flow, treasury activities, banking arrangements and electronic payments.
• Overseeing purchase and sales ledger activity, invoicing, credit control, expenses and company payment methods.
• Managing the relationship with the outsourced payroll provider and ensuring payroll and pension information is accurate and properly reconciled.
• Overseeing finance systems and identifying opportunities to streamline, automate and improve processes.
• Supporting finance system upgrades and enhancements while maintaining appropriate access controls and audit trails.
• Providing useful financial information to budget holders and other stakeholders across the organisation.
• Working alongside the COO on projects designed to strengthen financial processes, reporting and overall efficiency.

About the Successful Applicant

You will be part-qualified, fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), or qualified by experience (QBE), with strong Finance Manager-level experience and sound technical accounting knowledge. You will bring experience across management reporting, payroll oversight, banking and accounts receivable, alongside strong Excel and finance systems skills. Excellent communication, analytical and stakeholder-management capabilities are essential. Education, charity or not-for-profit experience would be advantageous.
