Unicat Catalyst Technologies, Inc. in Dewsbury is seeking a part-time Finance Assistant to support our Accounts Payable function. The role reports to Financial Controller and focuses on processing supplier invoices, payment runs, and reconciling accounts.

We offer a 6-month fixed-term contract, 25–30 hours per week, with benefits including pension, eye care, health checks, and on-site parking at the Dewsbury office.

Qualifications

• Experience in Accounts Payable, Purchase Ledger or Finance Assistant role.
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach.
• Good Microsoft Excel skills and confidence using financial systems.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices, match to PO and goods receipts.
• Prepare supplier payment runs and post payments in Access Financials.
• Reconcile supplier accounts and statements; resolve queries.
• Collaborate with Buyers to resolve PO/invoice issues.
• Support month-end activities and audits; contribute to process improvements.
