Job summary

National Centre for Social Research (NatCen) is seeking Field Interviewers in Salisbury to visit households and conduct important health, housing and transport interviews. You will work in the community, using a tablet/laptop to guide conversations and record real-life experiences of British daily life.

No desk work, just door-to-door engagement. Essential: a valid UK driving licence, DBS check willingness, reliable broadband, and 18+ hours per week.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written English required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable and self-motivated with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Visit people in their homes to conduct essential research interviews.
• Use a tablet or laptop to guide conversations and capture responses.
• Manage flexible part-time hours including weekdays, evenings and weekends.
