Job summary

NatCen, the UK’s leading independent social research organisation, is recruiting Field Interviewers in Derry. You will visit households to conduct health, housing and transport interviews using a tablet or laptop. This role is field-based, not desk-bound, with flexible part-time hours and DBS clearance.

Essential: UK driving licence, car, and right to work in the UK, plus reliable broadband and a device. You’ll join a team delivering insights to improve lives nationwide.

Qualifications

• Essential: Valid UK driving licence and sole use of a car.
• Class 1 Business insurance and right to work in the UK.
• DBS check, reliable home broadband and a device to interview.

Responsibilities

• Visit people in their homes to carry out vital interviews on health, housing and transport.
• Use a tablet or laptop to guide conversations and record experiences.
• You'll be out in the community, knocking on doors, not a desk job.
• Approach some households flexibly; some will say no, this is normal.
