Job summary

FireFit Youth & Community Hub in Liverpool is seeking a Receptionist for evenings and weekends on a part-time basis. You’ll welcome visitors and youth members, manage bookings and memberships, and support administration with cash handling and rewards through the tuck shop.

Working pattern runs 4:45pm–9:45pm weekdays and 3:45pm–7:45pm Saturdays. You’ll need strong customer service skills, literacy/numeracy, and good IT experience while following GDPR and safeguarding policies.

Qualifications

• Friendly, approachable with a strong customer focus.
• Good literacy and numeracy (GCSE 4+ or equivalent).
• Experience in delivering excellent customer service.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Good IT skills and ability to handle customer information in line with GDPR.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload.
• Attention to detail and organised approach.
• Desirable Level 3 qualification and First Aid training.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors and members with a friendly, professional manner.
• Manage sign-ins and out for visitors, members and contractors.
• Respond to enquiries face-to-face, by phone, email and social media.
• Handle bookings and venue hire information, keep records up to date.
• Maintain membership accounts and process fees.
• Support daily reception operations including tuck shop.
• Maintain accurate customer/service data for reporting.
• Provide general admin support and file records.
• Handle payments and assist with cashing up.
