Job summary

Shaftesbury Next Steps is recruiting a Part Time Enabling Support Worker to provide support and encouragement under the person-centred plan and to help with daily living tasks. You will maintain records in line with service requirements and may assist with personal care and medication.

There will be sleep-in sessions, paid an extra £60 per sleep-in. This day centre supports young adults with learning disabilities to learn life-skills and build confidence, within an inclusive and caring team.

Qualifications

• Provide support and encouragement according to the person-centred support plan.
• Maintain accurate records in line with service requirements.
• May administer personal care and medication.

Responsibilities

• Support and encourage the person supported following the care plan.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Assist with personal care and medication administration as required.
• Cover sleep-in sessions with an additional £60 per sleep in.
