Bright Horizons Kings Hill Day Nursery and Preschool is seeking an Early Years Assistant for a part-time role (15-20 hours/week, 11am–2pm, Mon–Fri). Salary is £12.75–£12.95 per hour, dependent on qualification and experience, in West Malling, Kent.

Nursery – Bright Horizons Kings Hill Day Nursery and Preschool

Salary – £12.75 to £12.95 per hour (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

Hours – Full or Part time, Part time hours are 11am to 3pm monday – friday

We're looking for an Early Years Assistant to join our Kings Hill nursery. This is a part time position working 15-20 hours per week, 11am to 2pm Monday-Friday.

As an Early Years Assistant, you will work as part of a team to look after babies and children up to the age of 5. You will have adventures with our children through interactive play, activities, reading, and encouraging their curious minds – supporting colleagues with each child’s development towards their key milestones.

What we're looking for
  • Previous experience working with children ideal but not essential – Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
  • Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
