Job summary

Bright Horizons Hinchley Wood nur sery in Esher is seeking an Early Years Assistant to join a dedicated team of caring professionals. You will support babies and children up to five years old through interactive play, storytelling and activities, helping each child develop towards their key milestones.

We welcome applicants with or without previous childcare experience. The role offers a 24-hour workweek Monday to Friday, a 40% childcare discount for the first child, enhanced parental leave,

Early Years Assistant – Hinchley Wood Day Nursery and Preschool

Salary – From £13.45 per hour (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

We're looking for an Early Years Assistant to join our Hinchley Wood nursery working Monday-Friday, 24 hours per week.

Role

As an Early Years Assistant, you will work as part of a team to look after babies and children up to the age of 5. You will have adventures with our children through interactive play, activities, reading, and encouraging their curious minds – supporting colleagues with each child’s development towards their key milestones.

What we’re looking for
  • Previous experience working with children ideal but not essential – Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
  • Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
