Bright Horizons Bickley Day Nursery and Preschool in Bickley, Kent is seeking an Early Years Assistant to join the team caring for babies and children up to 5 years old. You will support play, learning activities and development toward key milestones.

Salary – £29,432 - £29,889 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

The setting is based between Chislehurst and Bickley train station, great links to transport as well as it's own car park that staff can use.

The Role

As an Early Years Assistant, you will work as part of a team to look after babies and children up to the age of 5.

You will have adventures with our children through interactive play, activities, reading, and encouraging their curious minds – supporting colleagues with each child’s development towards their key milestones.

What we’re looking for
  • Previous experience working with children ideal but not essential – Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
  • Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
