Job summary

Bright Horizons Maidstone Boughton Lane nursery is seeking a flexible Bright Flex/Bank practitioner to work with babies and children up to age 5. You will participate in interactive play, reading and activities to support development toward key milestones, within a supportive team.

The role offers bank/agency flexibility with employee benefits, including DBS checks and professional development opportunities. Prior nursery experience is helpful but not mandatory.

Salary

£12.75 - £12.95 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

The Role

Working as part of our Bright Flex / Bank team, you can blend the convenience of bank/ agency work, with the security and benefits of being an employee – giving you the best of both worlds! Within this role, you will work as part of a team to look after babies and children up to the age of 5. You will have adventures through interactive play, reading, and activities to encourage curious minds – supporting colleagues with each child’s development towards their key milestones.

What we’re looking for
  • Previous experience working with children ideal but not essential – Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable
