Job summary

Richmond and Wandsworth Councils are seeking a Duty Manager for Active Hampton on a 12-month fixed-term, part-time contract (24 hours per week).

The starting salary is £20,816 per annum. You will join the management team to oversee day-to-day operations, ensure facilities are clean, safe and staffed, and support front-of-house reception, activities, and health & safety duties across day, evening and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Level 1 Fitness Instructor qualification.
• First aid qualification desirable (training available).
• Some relevant experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of the Centre to ensure it runs smoothly.
• Ensure facilities are clean, safe and staffed with a priority on customer experience.
• Support front-of-house reception work, supervise activities and coordinate sports programmes.
• Assist with Health & Safety duties and adherence to diversity and equality in service delivery.
