Avon Search & Selection is representing a privately owned retirement home in Doncaster seeking a part-time Domestic Assistant. You will maintain high cleanliness standards across resident bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas, following infection prevention protocols and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Previous domestic or cleaning experience is desirable.
• Friendly and respectful manner when interacting with residents and colleagues.
• Willingness to follow cleaning procedures and health and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning residents' bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the home.
• Cleaning lounges, dining areas, corridors and other shared spaces.
• Following cleaning schedules and infection prevention and control procedures.
• Using cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly.
• Ensuring cleaning materials are stored appropriately.
• Reporting any maintenance issues, hazards or concerns to the appropriate person.
• Treating residents with dignity, respect and consideration while carrying out your duties.
• Working as part of a team to maintain a pleasant and homely environment.
