Job summary

Global Banking School is seeking a Lecturer in Computing to teach across undergraduate levels for the BSc (Hons) Computing programme. The role requires flexibility to teach during weekdays, evenings and weekends.

You will develop materials covering database systems, internet technologies, data, cyber security, networking and business IT systems, and oversee learning, teaching and assessment with up-to-date industry practices.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant subject area is required, PhD is desirable.
• UK HE lecturing experience is preferred.
• Experience across two or more areas such as programming, databases, cloud, networking, cybersecurity, and AI/ML.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess student work to meet learning outcomes.
• Develop and update course materials for the Computing programme.
• Utilise diverse teaching methods and materials.
• Engage in staff development and administrative duties.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge in the field and student support practices.
• Monitor attendance, progression, and student satisfaction.
