Job summary

Thurrock Council's Collins House Residential Home is seeking three care workers to provide 24-hour on-site care for residents, including those living with dementia. The role requires a compassionate and professional approach and the ability to work as part of a team.

You'll join a supportive workplace with training provided, a rotating schedule that includes early, late and weekend shifts, and opportunities for hybrid working where applicable.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dementia and challenging behaviours.
• Understanding of manual handling; training provided.
• Willingness to work a rota including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour on-site care to residents at Collins House.
• Work within a 4-6 weekly rota including early, late and weekend shifts.
• Support residents to live independently and maintain community life.
