Job summary

Guild Care’s Haviland House in Goring-by-Sea, Worthing, is seeking a Dementia Care Assistant to support residents living with dementia to feel safe, valued and cared for. We offer flexible day and night shifts, with 24–48 hours per week, part-time and full-time contracts, and full training provided.

No experience is required, and compassion and attitude are valued above all else. Rates reflect day and night shifts with opportunities for progression and a bonus after 12 months.

Qualifications

• Must have the right to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship.
• Ability to work 24-48 hours per week.
• Ability to work alternate weekends for full-time roles.
• No experience required, full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centred care.
• Build warm, trusting relationships with residents living with dementia.
• Support emotional wellbeing, dignity and independence.
• Collaborate with a supportive team and maintain accurate care records.
