Job summary

The Royal British Legion is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to provide personalised care in our dementia unit. This part-time role requires 18 hours per week on day shifts, with a rota covering seven days. A DBS check is required, and applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

Experience delivering personal care and supporting daily routines.
Ability to work a rota covering 7 days a week.
Enhanced DBS check required and candidate must have legal right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

Assist with personal care and daily routines of residents.
Ensure residents' comfort and dignity at all times.
Support with mobility, nutrition, and medication as needed.
Create and maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
Maintain accurate care records.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
