Job summary

MERKUR Slots is seeking a part-time Day Keyholder in Oldham who will be responsible for opening, trading and closing the venue in the absence of senior management. The role requires excellent communication, strong customer service and a passion for delivering a great gaming experience.

You will work flexible weekend and Bank Holiday shifts, with a 36 hour week and pay rates between £13.08 and £14.08 per hour, plus a higher night rate of £14.08 per hour from 23:00 to 06:00.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, hospitality or gambling sectors.
• Willing to learn and progress within the role.
• Able to support training of others and be a team role model.
• Cash handling experience and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Open, trade and close the venue in the absence of the Venue Manager/Assistant Manager.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and hygiene at the venue.
• Handle customer changes and cash float as per procedures.
• Assist with bingo, catering or other duties as required by the Venue/Duty Manager.
• Payout for machine faults following Company procedures when authorised.
