Job summary

MERKUR Slots in Oldham is seeking a Day Keyholder (part-time) to help open, trade and close the venue. You’ll work 36 hours per week at £13.08–£14.08 per hour with a higher night rate of £14.08 between 23:00 and 06:00, supporting a leading high-street gaming brand.

Training is provided, and you’ll be part of a team delivering first-class service. The role requires excellent communication, cash handling experience, and a proactive approach to customer care.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, hospitality or gambling sector.
• Flexible schedule, able to work weekends/bank holidays.
• Willingness to support training and be a team role model.

Responsibilities

• Open, trade and close the venue when the Venue Manager/Assistant Manager is absent.
• Handle cash and manage personal float per procedures.
• Monitor customer behaviour and report suspicious activity to management.
• Maintain health and safety standards and venue housekeeping.
• Assist with promotions, bingo/catering duties and general admin as required.
