Job summary

Co-op is hiring Customer Team Members to join our St Columb Major store. You’ll work as part of a friendly team, delivering helpful service on the shop floor, tills, and bakery, with early starts and weekend shifts. Training is provided, and a permanent part-time contract is offered.

This 16-hour-per-week role includes regular overtime opportunities, 18+ eligibility, and a benefits package featuring a 30% product discount, a pension, and holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering friendly customer service.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends.
• Interest in retail and busy store environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and thoughtful service, helping to put things right when needed.
• Work with your team to keep the store running smoothly.
• Hands-on on the shop floor, tills, bakery and daily operations.
• Maintain shelves, check prices and stock accuracy.
• Ensure store safety, pricing and stock integrity.
• Promote Co-op Membership and support local community initiatives.
