B&Q Limited in Dumfries is hiring a Customer Advisor on a 6-month fixed-term contract for 24 or 32 hours per week. Shifts are 12 hours, Monday to Sunday, 8:30am–6:30pm, with induction at Carlisle.

Join the B&Q Collect Trial at Cuckoo Bridge Retail Park and help customers with online orders, returns, and in-store stock, while using digital tools to manage orders and stock. This role requires flexibility and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing, eager to help others.
• Willing to learn new technology and ways of working.
• Able to work alone or with one other person, mostly alone.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with online orders, returns, and next orders.
• Oversee stock transport to/from site.
• Ensure smooth collection/return of B&Q and Marketplace products.
• Collaborate with buddy store and GXO to fulfill orders/returns.
• Use digital systems to manage stock and process orders.
• Follow policies and embody B&Q behaviours.
