Job summary

Compass Group UK in the United Kingdom is seeking an ambitious Chef on a part-time basis contracted to 31.5 hours per week. You will prepare and serve high-quality food, oversee menu changes and help create new concepts, while representing Eurest and upholding brand standards.

The role requires a passion for great food, a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent, and experience supervising a team with a flexible approach to working. Shift pattern is 4 on 4 off.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent.
• Food Hygiene certificate required.
• Experience supervising a team.
• Experience in a similar Chef role.
• Flexible approach to working.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious, high-quality food for clients and customers.
• Oversee and implement menu changes.
• Identify opportunities to improve food services.
• Listen to customer feedback and improve services.
• Assist with creating new menus and concepts.
• Represent Eurest and maintain a positive brand image.
• Monitor inventories to keep kitchens well-stocked.
• Oversee kitchen cleaning to maintain hygiene.
• Comply with Food Handling, Hygiene and Safety regulations.
