Job summary

The Brooksbank School is seeking a part-time Cover Supervisor to join our team. Initially 30 hours per week across Monday to Friday to cover maternity leave, with a transition to 18 hours per week (3 days) term time plus 2 days. Closing date is 6 November 2026, 9am. Start date is to be advised.

The role involves supervising classes, supporting staff, and enabling access to learning for all students within a supportive school environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervising whole classes during the short‑term absence of their teacher, delivering the planned lesson, answering questions and keeping students on task.
• Supporting teaching staff with general administrative tasks under the direction of the Cover Manager.
• Supporting individuals and groups to enable access to learning, including those needing specialist knowledge.
