Ex-Mil Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Business Development Manager for a part-time, UK-remote role. The position offers 20 hours per week with pro rata pay of £35,000–£50,000, subject to experience. You will build the pipeline across the UK construction and industrial sectors, identifying opportunities and securing contracts.

This hands-on BD role values an established network, commercial mindset, and the ability to work independently. There is potential to move to full-time as new business is won.

Qualifications

• Minimum proven BD experience in construction or related sectors.
• Strong network within construction organisations.
• Ex-military or emergency services background encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Identify and research new target organisations.
• Develop relationships with key decision-makers.
• Leverage industry contacts to generate opportunities.
• Understand customer requirements and identify value.
• Develop opportunities from contact through tender and contract.
• Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline.
• Attend customer meetings and industry events.
• Contribute to shaping BD strategy and growth.
